I Need Help Bad My Code Has Changed!!!
To whom it may concern,
I am having a problem that I don't understand fully and need your assistance. I reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows xp with my original windows key and my GAIFR CODE HAS CHANGED!!!
It now shows: YAMII-IFR
It formerly had shown SQNII-IFR when I first purchased it on 9-16-2006.
I thought it might have been caused by me trying to install it before I installed service pack 2 for
windows xp but after installing the service pack I get the same code (YAMII-IFR), I am not sure what happened? I even downloaded the updates (exe and dll) and it still does the same thing.
The only other thing that has changed is that I added another video card with dual outputs for
4 screens (1 for my approach charts, 1 for a holding pattern program, 1 for my enroute charts,
and of course the panel itself.) Did the addittional video card cause this? Please help soon. Thanks
I purchased everything with my credit card as a package through:
CSI Cockpit Simulations,
3504 Allen Avenue,
Regina,SK S4S 0Z9 CANADA.
Helllllp! I really need to get back to practicing my holding pattern entries for my real-life checkride, thank you so much guys.
I purchased the FSUIPC 3.7.0 AND WIDEFS 6.7.0 ALSO (THEY WORK FINE)
A LADY BY THE NAME OF KATY PLUTA sent codes for them on behalf of someone named
PETER L. DOWSON. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
I CAN SCAN YOU MY PRINTED RECEIPT IF NECESSARY

christianpilot1,
Even though this is labeled a Project Magenta forum, PM has VERY recently stated officially that they do not deal with these types of forums on the web and have not for a while (please see here: http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?t=9900 ).
This problem you have sounds like something that you need to take up with them directly at their website and via their email system.
best,
...................john
EDIT: Ahhhh...Marco....was posting mine as you posted yours.

Hi.. Just send an email to register@projectmagenta.com and they will send you the new key. It is not strange to have a key change after a rebuild. Just send PM the new code and they will send you a new key.
