Engine Start Switches
Hi friends and simmers,
I plan to mount two "Solenoid Magnetic Switches" into my (737) overhead panel working as engine start switches. The Interface is ready (with an extra 24V power supply to hold the magnets), but I don't know, where to get this switches.
I also learned, that these kind of switches are very expensive, about USD 1.500/EUR 1.100 each? Can someone confirm that?
Any hints or tips appreciated!Last edited by flightdeck; 07-27-2007 at 10:54 AM. Reason: Shifted currencies :-)

Well I have seen them for around $300.00 US each if you watch like Ebay but that would sound like a serviceable set price.

Wow. I had no idea they were that high. I wonder what all those solenoid switches in my Sperry AP would cost.
