CDU problems
Hi Guys
This is a sort of repeat but as no new builds are available and some of you reported not having problems with STARS and Direct to ....
PLEASE anyone having A NAV DATA CYCLE AND BUILDS THAT WORK TOGETHER IN A STABLE MANNER ...COULD YOU POST HERE THE APPROPRIATE DETAILS SO THAT WE CAN ENJOY FLYING WHILE WAITING FOR PM TO SORT THINGS OUT.

You need to go here, http://www2.navigraph.com/www/default.asp , to get your nav data for the cdu. PM doesn't post any updates anymore.

When I get back in the sim today I will relist the builds I am using. I am going to try the new beta on the PM website for navdata.

Sorry for assuming you didn't know about the Navigraph site. I'm afraid I can't help you since I am running the most current Boeing PM builds and Navigraph data with no errors or bugs noticed. I didn't keep any of my previous builds. Hopely some else can help you out.
Good luck.Lyle Kirgan

Lyle
Thanks.
Can you be more precise as to the number of the "newest" PM builds that you use.
These are the latest
CDU390
MCP420
Gc450
PMCDUNAV 0705 (navigraph)
PMGCNAV 0705 (navigraph)
I am more interested by the ones you use if they work without problems
tell us more...pleaseeeeeee.
And Bob...tell us about yours too..
Cheers

I'm at work now but will check tonight and give all my software version numbers. It'll be in about 6 hours. So far I am not having any of the problems I've seen here.

Ok, here is WHAT I had...
CDU = 388
MCP = 418
GC = 448
Everything works great. Now since it was brought, up I see there is a newer version so I downloaded all 3 and now my cdu is completely corrupt and unuseable. I tried going back to 388 but no help. LSK's L1, L6 and R6 do not respond anymore. I have already sent a plea of help to Peter Cos just incase it's a hardware fasilure but that would be quite coincidental. What a wheelbarrow full of crap this was. I had a major fly-in this weekend to boot. If PM is going charge as much as they do for their software you'd think by now they would have a decent product, especially if they are shooting for the bigger customer's satisfaction.

Sorry to hear you are having these problems.
Seems I mentioned something about PM to this effect a few weeks back.
Maybe i'm better off that they don't offer a 727 suite.Boeing Skunk Works
