throttle & trim Question
Hi Roberto,
i have been trying to find info on this, can the throttles only be manually moved or when you are in A/Th do they move automatically? & do the trim wheels move ?
Thanks

Hi there,
in an airbus plane the only thing moving are the trim wheels.
The throttle levers are duriing normal operation set into CLB gate
and they stay there

Yes that is right on the Bus the only thing that moves is the Trim wheels, on the Airbus you have AUTOTHRUST not AUTOTHROTTLES, meaning that you leave the throttle handles on the CLB position and the Autothrust takes care of thrust control... While in Boeing the handles move accordingly to the thrust setting!!
Take care,
Roberto

Makes the Airbus a lot easier to build, and especially the throttle quadrant !
