    Hi Michel,

    I´m not Katy, but did you read Pete´s detailed description in his forum?

    UDP is simply faster but may be less reliable as, in comparison to TCP/IP,
    UDP does not do transmission checking as TCP/IP does.

    Check on Pete's forum and his documentation? UDP has less overhead
    but less reliability, so it just needs to be tested, if it works on
    your system: fine, if not simply switch back to TCP or IPX...
