Trim indicators
Hi everyone,
I am currently constructing a 3-axis Trim indicator guage. I am using 3 servos to drive the needles. My question is this. what FS parameters in FS2Phidgets can i use to communicate to teh guages. I look in the offset list, and there is nothing that says aileron trim or Trim_ailerons, or anything to that nature. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

I am guessing you are referring to the drop down list.
Not every FSUIPC variable for Microsoft Flight Simulator, Project Magenta, etc is on the drop down.
FS2Phidget is designed as an open-ended tool.
You can add FSUIPC variables.
First, you need to get hold of the FSUIPC offset documentation.
Link is on page 26 of the FS2Phidget manual.
Download the FSUIPC SDK.
In the downloaded zip file you want FSUIPC for Programmers.doc
If you have problems getting hold of documentation send email to
groundcrew@coconutair
Place "Request FSUIPC Documentation" in subject line and folks will send a copy.
Also start reading Chapter 11 of the FS2Phidget manual.
Once you have FSUIPC documentation, let me know, and I will assist you in setting up the aileron trim.
Regards,
Alan.
