    Phidget 0/16/16.... How many switches?

    I am finishing up the build on my overhead panel in my CRJ cockpit simulator. I am considering using the Phidgets interface for all my switches, but I want to know how many on/off switches can be connected to one 0/16/16 board? Is the board layed out in a matrix format for the inputs and outputs, or do you truly have just the capability to monitor 16 switches and control 16 leds?

    Hi,

    You can't do a matrix because turning on 2 switches in the matrix where the X and Y cross will unintentionally turn on a 3rd "ghost" switch.

    It needs to be a direct 16 to 16.
