RE: Run away AT/MCP speed
Hi guys,
I am getting a similar problem. Using full magenta setup except PM systems.
Flying 757200 with 757 FFG PM FILE for the 752. I set the trust limit on the
init ref / thrust limit page. Capped at 95%N1. I have the correct Vspeeds
set and retract flaps on sched. I have the AT engeged and follow the FD up
on climb, but the airspeed fires up close to 290kts indicated. If I
increase AoA to shed speed the thrust is increased to maintain this climb at 290.
All the usual restrictions in place 250 below Fl100
Tend to manually set thrust and on reaching Vref30 + 80 I engage the AT which
holds this speed.
Any Ideas or CDU settings I have missed?

What rate of climb does the aircraft have when it does this? Is it roughly
6000 Ft/min? Then you might have to derate the thrust for the climb.
