Nic,
Great progress!
A really nice looking project - I like the approach for the shell, simple but effective and gives a good feel for the flightdeck - looking forward to sharing your ideas on the 3HeadGo card on my sim,
Keep up the good work!

Great stuff Nic,
I was wondering how you are going to have multiple monitors for instruments and also 3 projected forward views. Are you doing multiple PC's?

Thanks guys. All these photos are on the construction diary on my website but I thought I'd upload 'em here too for all too enjoy.
You'll also find much of the design information on the site: http://www.insitesolutions.com.au/73...n_overview.htm (click the links on the top of that page for the info you're after)

Trouble is, I'm struggling to keep the site up-to-date coz the cockpit construction keeps wearing me out!! lol

That is looking GREAT!
Where did you ever find the small LCD screen between the FMS's forward of the control stand? $$$?
That would be perfect to display the weather radar aboard my 727!
The Dreamfleet 727 has the Reality XP500 Color WX Radar built-in. It's very nice and accurate too.Boeing Skunk Works

I searched high and low for that little screen - best I could get was off ebay from a business in Hong Kong - here's the store link: http://stores.ebay.com.au/SkyPro-Ind-Co-Ltd. Good to deal with and price is very good (around $320 Australian at the time incl. postage), considering it's a touch screen with TV built-in too.
I would have preferred a 10.4" size but that won't fit in the CDU rack.
Resolution at 800x600 is acceptable - would work well for XW radar. I'm using it for EICAS2 and as an electronic flight bag.
