CDU lights where is 'DSPY' ??
Hi,
please help in finding the read offset for the "DSPY" FMC light, the one
above the "FAIL" light.
Thanks
Peter

As far as I know, that light is not in use in the real
aircraft (at least according to Mr. Bulfer)

Re: CDU lights where is 'DSPY' ??
Thanks Enrico for your reply.
I´ve got the "Big Boeing FMC User Guide" from Bill Bulfer.
According to this (Last page outfold): "DSPY indicates the active lateral or
vertical leg or performance mode is not displayed on the current CDU
page"
Anyway I can live without it. But what do the FMCs route that lamp to
generally?
I mean, for example, the plug and play FMC from Flightdeck solutions.
Any idea??
Thanks
Peter

I do not know what you mean by "route", but if they use a
keyboard emulator then they only have three keyboard lights
usually... and those are used for EXEC, FAIL and MSG.

Re: CDU lights where is 'DSPY' ??
Hi Enrico,
with "route" I meant "mapping". Sorry that expression comes from the FSBus
router.
I´ve seen that Flightdecksolutions HW CDU has got the 4 lights, at least the
front panel looks alike.
Any idea where to the DSPY light might be mapped (offset?)
Thanks

None. How can it be mapped if it uses a keyboard encoder?
Why not ask FDS?

Hi Peter,
The circuit board on my 737 CDU from Flightdecksolutions has
provisions for DSPY, but only EXEC and MSG are populated with LEDs.
Thanks,
Ed
