SPEECH TO KEYBOARD
Hi Everybody.
I want to use voice activation to trigger keystrokes on the keyboard. This would be to use specific words to activate numbers 1 to 7 when using the inbuilt ATC in FS2004.
Can anyone recommend a program that could do this?
Here's hoping!

Re: SPEECH TO KEYBOARD
Hi Skino.
Thanks for the advice. I have listened to the video, but cannot see how the system allows voice commands to trigger key presses? Voice to text is clear but no comments on voice to keyboard? I will look at the video again, but not being too bright with computers, I may not see how this is done!
Any guidance?
Thanks Tony UK

Re: SPEECH TO KEYBOARD
At 0:41 you can see the menu -> Send Keystrokes
I say "flaps up" and the macro sends F7 to the simulator. Just try it, works very well. Speech ("flaps going up") can be also added.

Re: SPEECH TO KEYBOARD
Hi from one greybeard to another!
Can you tell me a little bit about setting voiceattack up? I am looking to program it to activate a key press on voice command but this sort of thing is not mentioned on the website? I will get the trial version if it looks like I will understand it!
Thanks for your time.

Re: SPEECH TO KEYBOARD
Hi Tony, no problem.
So to interact with ATC you would set it up so that you would say "ATC" or "Radio" or whatever command you want. You simply type the phrase into the program. Then you tell it which key or keys you want to send (you can use modifiers like shift, ctrl and alt), save the file and load it when you run fsx or whatever.
I recommend you look at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r55_AaHHue4 This guy demonstrates the power of the program. You can set up a feed back mode so that you know your command has been received properly and eve have VA talk back to you. These features are demonstrated later in he video.
Google voice attack fsx or 2004 and you will probably find a pre made profile you can use and adapt. Try the trial version. You have nothing to lose!
Have fun
