MCP390d Beta AutoPilot and Altitude Hold Button
I tryed the Beta AutoPilot in latest build 390d.
I noticed that when in climb with V/S or LevelChange by pushing the
Altitude
hold the aircraft was falling in a descent overshooting the altitude for
hold until the crash into the sea or the ground.
In No Beta mode was working fine.
In both BetaOn or Off modes the light in Alt Hold was not up and after the
alt hold, when i want to "return" back to climb mode i couldnot press the
LevelChange button, or speed, until i first push one more time the AltHold
to de-activate it and then to select a new mode. I think that is possible
in
737-700 to push a new button for a new mode so it cancel the previous and
the new was active.
So, Enrico, the Beta at this point has a possible problem.
Both Beta and not have a problem with button's led for on and for
requesting
a second push for de-active the alt hold.
regards
Eddie

Hi,

rest.
Ciao
