FS2Phidget 5.0.21 hogging up to 25% CPU time with no outputs

Hi,

My Sim is a bell 206B3 helicopter based around the Dodosim FSX and using Simkits gauges(old CCU type and new USB simple gauges), copycat ranger 5 controls, Phidget LED 64 advanced, Elite 400 radio stack and custom built panels enclosure.

My system is getting on a bit (Dual Core 3Ghz with 4GB of ram) but has been performing well until recently. So I've being trying to boost performance within FSX. I've been turning off various processes that arent required and noticed the Phidgets.exe is using 25% of my CPU time irespective of what else is going on in the sim.
Is this normal or does it sound like theres a problem?

I would recommend using version 4.
