Generic cockpit
Well along with all the other ideas I have for other things. I would definitely like to start making either a fighter jet like cockpit with a 19" over a 15"... 19 for out view and 15 for avionics. With a whole frame to sit in, although I thought about it did a few hand drawings and looked on here! Didn't like what I was coming up with after I saw all the great projects before me. So I think what I'll do instead is build a jetliner tandem cockpit, and start with two monitors for avionics, and a 32in screen for the right: copilot seat first. Therefore I can start, and when I get more money and more assets, probably go ahead and continue on the left side.
I'm curious what the best material other than wood, plywood for the outer shell like skin of the cockpit.
I'll have to draw up some of what I am thinking and post a picture of it... maybe build a little model out of cardboard or Lego.
