Re: New computer requirements?
Welcome to the world of FSX !!!!
It depends on which aircrafts and other add-ons you want to run with FSX.
What i mean: if you want to run default aircrafts it's ok, but if you want to have "heavy aircrafts" like PMDG's 747 with haevy sceneries, terrains, textures, weather and multiplayer, the answer is that there is no system today to satisfy all these.
I have a Core i7 930Ghz (not overclocked), with 6GbRam, Win 64bit, GTX480, SSD fo Win and many times at online flights i got 12-15 frames with heavy configuration.
Wait 1-2 years for new systems or for new FS, or try to find the best to buy for your money and your needs.
It would be a very nice dream that FSX was like Vista and one day a new FS will come like Win7
