My 747-400 TQ Started
HI All:
Wanted to share a pic with you all of my 747-400 TQ that I started. I cut out 5 pieces of plywood, then sanded them so that the top (curvature) and bottom is at a right angle so everything will be true. Some of the others I had a hard time getting a right angle so it'll have to do. I plan on building this as a "box" that will slide into the pedestal which will be started at a later date. I also plan on using an old Saitek 6 lever throttle quadrant that I will open up and modify those levers. I found a cheap wood lathe on craigslist I'm trying to buy so that the throttle lever knobs can be turned. I have some extra plexiglass laying around, but not sure what to do with it though.
After this, I'm not sure what will come next. I'm open to any ideas or suggestions.
