767 finally taking shape!
Hi guys, I have finally moved house (still a rental) and have made a start on my
sim. I spent 2 days cutting and drilling with the help of Ian Cameron's
excellent shell tutorial and it's starting to take shape.(Thankyou Ian!!) I have
uploaded some photos of the first 48 hours of building. I had to make a few
adjustments along the way such as stretching the glare shield side panels as I
accidentally made them too short to start with. I follow The guides you fine
folks have provided and I make up the rest as I go along! I'll keep you posted
on the progress and we'll see how it turns out. I have also made a 767 throttle
quadrant to f it over the Saitek pro throttle system and It gives a satisfactory
experience to start with I'll post those pics shortly.
Happy flying guys
Drew

Re: 767 finally taking shape!
Hi Drew,
Nie work - looks very tidy indeed! You must be pleased. Now, I'm very interested in the work you are doing on the Saitek throttles. The handles look great. I'm using a pair of Saiteks in the same way but I don't have gucci handles like that. How did you go about making them? Got any drawings, photos or measurements you'd like to share? I'd be delighted for anything you could send my way.
Cheers!
Nigel.

Nice job! It's looking great and your throttle pics just gave me some motivation for my very own Saitek throttles. I guess you have 2 sets of throttle, correct?
