Edge lighting on annunciators
Hello all,
I have been looking at a ton of 737 cockpit photos on the Internet and I've seen that the edges of all the annunciators are lit up. Look at this picture for example:
If you look closely, the edge or "frame" of the annunciator has light bleeding through. Is this normal? I ask because all my annunciators are made of clear acrylic with a black front and laser engraved legends. I paint all 4 sides in black but have noticed that sometimes the paint chips away at the exact edges where light comes out on these photos.
So I was thinking that maybe I can simply sand the edge of my annunciators to make them all look the same and at the same time, emulate how the real annunciators look like.
