Is anyone building in Oklahoma or Texas?
The idea of building a cockpit sim sounds really interesting but looking at the prices on parts and the way the economy is right now I doubt it's something I'm able to do right now.
Still however I'd be interested to know whether anyone in Oklahoma or Texas (especially the DFW area) is currently building (or has finished) any kind of cockpit simulation. I'd very much be interested in checking it out, and would certainly leave a donation towards the project or a gift of a needed part. Alternately if there's any professional simulator access at all anywhere in OK/TX, I'd be interested in that too. I'm almost sure AA and Southwest are not interested in anyone visiting their training sims -- I tried it in 1989 with no luck and it's certainly not going to be any better nowadays!
