Radio panel! help me with parts etc.
Hey all, I just started on my first project, to build a light panel for a piper, with only switches.
Can anyone of you help me, which parts I should buy and how to connect + configure them on the computer.
Thank you, Xoder

Hi There,
Light Panel for GA / Piper is easy.
You need 6 Toggle Switches, Standard Size. You will need SPST Toggle switches. Ebay sell them cheap.
You will need a joystick controller card / button interface to connect the switches to. Best is Leo Bodnar BU0836 card. There are 2 pins on each toggle. Wire 'pin 1' of each toggle to 'ground' on the card, and then wire each pin2 of each toggle to each individual input on the card.
An easier way is to get the BUO836X card, all you do is wire the 2 pins to each individual channel of the card, so no need for grounding because its already included in each channel.
Then you need to download FSUIPC and register it (19 Euros i think!) and install it on FS, then assign what toggle controls what in FS.
This is just the basics of how to do it for the leo bodnar cards, there are however many other IO cards on the market, too many to mention.GA or the Highway!
