Swimming/shimmering graphics
Hi
I am using the following:
Nvidia 9600GTX 512MB video
Nhancer for FS9 and FSX
In FS9, I notice that the graphics look shimmering a lot of times. What settings would be helpful to know what's not set right that is causing this? Seems like I remember that one particular setting (anistropic filtering?) if set too high will cause this?
thanks,

The newest drivers I installed on my 8800 GTX seem to cause worse shimmering than the older ones.
I solved it by using the newest version of NHancer, turning down the Mip Map setting to 6 in FS9 and playing around with the other settings in Nhancer.
I still get some shimmering, but it's tolerable.

This setting in NHancer makes a difference with some cards...
Texture filtering - negative LOD bias: Clamp

I think its the Mip Mapping Level in FS9 that causes this if set above 4 I think.

Thanks to the both of you. This seems to be where I will go and look for a better less shimmering visual.
