vido idea for the neewbie
Hi all,
I had an idea that would help all new comers to the world of building. Would it be possible for anyone to create a short video of perhaps one overhead switch soldering to the wire then to the interphase card then to the programming and to the test. Thus everyone would know how to do one switch thus making it easier to install wire and programm the rest. would help me and probably many others a great deal..
thanks in advance =)

How much bandwidth do you have?
This is a good idea in concept and I challenge anyone to make a series of video tutorials documenting this
The reality is this: The soldering, wiring, hookup is the easiest part.
Although the programming has gotten MUCH easier over the years with the introduction of various hardware interface solutions, it is still an in-depth process (And would be vendor-specific), especially if you're looking at EPIC programming... that could take awhile and may not be viable via a video.
It would be great if we had an MSDN-like solution, but this hobby evolves rapidly, making any video tutorial pretty much obsolete before it's published.
