TV programme - 747 recycling
UK TV viewers have a programme tonight at 2000 BST (2100Z) on channel 5 featuring the scrapping of a 747 in Arizona and the recovery of various components. Perhaps a Discovery Channel programme originally.
www.five.tv for details. It may be possible to watch online later through the on-demand function accessible from the web page, although this probably requires registration with the site which may(?) be denied to non UK viewers for copyright reasons if their technology is slick enough.

thanks bryn for the reminder.....
i've seen this and it's well worth watching. great tv if you are an aviation fan, but sad also to see something this magnificent being turned into the raw material for coke cans.
also you'll be suprised how much of this aircraft ends up on other aircraft......
still, for aviation fans, a great hour's viewing.
enjoy..... regards .... ianMr. Ian. P. Sissons is hereby recognised as an Honorary Flight Sim Captain following his passing in February 2016. This is in recognition for his commitment to Flight Simulation.
