So question Phil do the keys operate at all? For example could this be placed over an FDS CDU and then operate or no? Thanx in advance.

Well the keys do operate, however it will be a nightmare to try and figure out its pinout, to do that you will need access to the topside of the PCB and that would require removing the membrane key overlay wich would probably destroy it.

As fo overlaying it over an FDS MCDU, well i dont have an FDS part to hand, but i would assume both are very close together in terms of sizes so it probably would.
