how to open windows on a specific spot on the screen..
Hi All,
I am looking for a freeware programm that allows you to have windows open at a set size (widthxheight) and at a specific location on the screen.
What I want is this. My EICAS is on a second PC. I also run some other programs on this PC and when I cover my monitors with the MIP I am going to build, I want these programs initialy to open just over the spot where my EICAS gauges are, so I can make adjustments before flying.
Does anybody know about such a program?
Thanks Jeroen

There used to be something like that long ago, but windows has grown to the point where how they open is coded into them. You can tell them to open fullscreen or in a window but not much else.
Maybe Vista restores some of that functionality.

Here is a link to software called "Actual Window Manager"
I'm not sure if it is what you are looking for but it seems to do what you want.
I haven't tried it myself.
