Avionics Sound in PM Sounds
I am using PM Sounds with FSX and the default 737 800.
When i switch off the master battery switch the avionics sound keeps playing.
Is there a way to have it stop playing when the battery is turned off, or is it something else that triggers the avionics sound to stop?
I appreciate any help offered.
Thanks.
Regards
Benja

I have no idea how a real plane works but is it maybe the avionis switch that needs to be turned off?

Mike you are right....
PM is emulating most of the aircrat sysytems
Which means that the battery is not the ultimate switch
you may have the battery ( batteries actually) off and power can still be supplied to all systems by...the APU, the Ground power Unit, Engine one Gen, enginetwo Gen. or both..
On an airliner Batteries are more of a backup than a power source.
If you want a realistic behaviour you have to use all the available soft, working all together
ie: Glass cockpit, MPC, FMC, PM systems...
That could be the source of your problems....Jackpilot

Yeah, when the Learjet BATT switches are turned on, no sounds but when I press the AVIONICS MASTER I get the sounds of the avionics, and I have not got anything but MSFS and PMRJ, + PM Sounds. I think that is pretty realistic.

Ok, good answers
Thanks for the input guy's.
I will have a look through the FSUIPC settings and assign a button to the Avionics master.
It must just be that the default FSX 737 is a little different, as i have both engines shutdown, the APU off and the battery off and there is still power that PM Sounds sees somehow.

Ams
I have no clue. Hey, does anyone know where the Avionics Master switch is in the FSX 737-800? I can't find it. I'm using the Cold and Dark cockpit add-on and my radios, autopilot, and autothrottle are not working. I need some help! Thanks.

Did you mean 737, SAS541? And by the way, what is Wide Client? Can you download it free? If so, where do you get it?

Wide Client is not free, it is software used allowing you to run different flight sim applications on seperate computers in a LAN.
For example. Active Sky (weather program) (VATSIM, IVAO) other flightsim utilities, and allows them to not have to run on the flightsim PC.________________________
