Spring loading for Flaps lever
I put this on another TQ thread, but think it can help as stand alone.
Here is one way to do it, all metal:
The rod B slides through the block A which is bolted on the lever.
B is lifted to disengage from the dented quadrant and the spring (compression) brings it back down on the next notch...easy cheap.

thanks my flap lever presently isn't spring loaded i may consider fitting this when i next have my TQ out of the pedestal for overhaul.
