Lear Seats
Hi all,
Does anybody happen to know who makes the cockpit seats used in the Lear 40/45/xr series jets? I'm wondering if the seats are similar in size to the MD-80.
Thanks!

Im pretty sure Ipeco supply those. With the new ergonomic design of the newer seats they tend to be a little smaller so the older designed seats are a little larger. Not lazy boy big but I think you get what I mean. Not much between them.

Well, Im not positive, but I do think that they are made by Ipeco.
I recently purchased some seats for my Learjet 45 sim and I believe they will be perfect, albeit theyre not real aircraft seats, but they are the right size best I could tell.
Btw, I had a chance to sit in a REAL Learjet 45 this past week. What a rush! I bought some very good condition Porsche 924 seats that are about the same size as the L45 seats.
Also, the 'XR' makes no physical changes from a non-XR L45 to a L45XR. It's a chip change only that squeezes the performance gain out of the aircraft.
