SimConnect users out here?
Hi,
just wanted to knowif there are any other crazy people around here which fiddle around with SimConnect
Reason:
It would be very helpful if I could ask some questions about this-and-that as I'm currently programming some displays using C# and SimConnect.
Status:
I can read basic flight data and display the numbers in realtime over the network. Simple graphical presentation will be the next stage.
Goal:

Cheers

Hi Yoshi
I hope you have done something amazing and you can share with effects. From some time I am playing with hardware and software trying to put everythings together. Currently working with simconnect and learning how to read and write data into it and display them in nice graphical interface. As I am not pro programmer, work is moving very slow but still forward. That would be very helpfull to have somebody who van help and exchange information. If you still into it, drop me an message, please.
Thanks
Marcin

The site FSDeveloper hosts forums that may be of interest. In particular there is a forum specifically for SimConnect: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=60

I recently switched to FSX and is now using SimConnect to interface my PC9M gauges using C# and GDI+ with great success.
But I miss some of the FSPUIC functionality such as the joystick calibration in FSPUIC. What I don't miss is the working with offsets.
And I use C# to interface to a PIC18F4550 via USB.Fritz -> Helicopter Cockpit Builder

Hi fweinrebe
Good to hear about your project, especially beacuse is very similliar to my. I've started my project 12 months ago which progress you can see on my website http://www.a320-project.skalarki.co.uk.
I am planing to design my own interfacing boards based on PIC 18F4550 and connect everything through my own control application using C# and simconnect.
So far I've done some designing of PIC side software using C.
Currently I am working on control application, but like always plenty problems to resolve. But everyday I can learn something new, so project is slowly mooving forward.
