MCDU/VASFMC/Learjet Builders
Captains, within the last week, another captain posted an update of his progress regarding his regional jet type 'pit. Somewhere in the post he linked to another forum (VAS FMC) regarding his hardware MCDU/CDU/FMS implementation. I beleive he used an OPENCOCKPITS MCDU, but the one on their website does not look like the one he had pictured in his VAS FMC Post. The hardware MCDU/CDU/FMC he showed was the type I would like. It is similar to a Honeywell CD-820, which is compact and includes a top row of buttons. After searching for several days now, both MyCockpit.org and VAS FMC forums, I still cannot find this post. If this is you or you have found this post please post a link. Maybe it is an Opencockpits CDU kit which he modified. Please advise, many thanks.
