New 737-900ER Builder
Hi Everyone,
My name is Lewis Simmons and I am planning to build a 737-900ER simulator.
I live in Auckland, New Zealand.
Im going to get right into it and I have started the cleanup of my sim room.
Any other builders in New Zealand?

Hi Lewis,
Welcome to Mycockpit.org. 737-900ER sounds like quite a challenge. I would like to hear more about your project. Did you just come to realize this, or have you been planning it for a while? Where did you first get introduced to the world of simpits?
Please start a photo album and provide pictures of your progress.
Best regards and welcome again for all of us here at Mycockpit.org.________________________

Hello Lewis! Welcome to mycockpit! I saw your posts over at FDS. You came in to this hobby just as FDS is making a major changes in there business. Some of the stuff you are looking for PC has discontinued. But keep looking and be patient he will bring most of the 737 stuff back in his new panel line. As Trevor said, pictures are great we can all follow you in your build and maybe see some things that we want to do in our own sims. I always learn when looking at someone else's build. Enjoy your stay here and ask questions. That is why we are here.

I have been planning for around 6 months now. As said, Peter Cos is bringing out alot of new stuff at the moment but also he has taken alot away. I was originally planning to go with a 777, however as myself and many others saw at a later date, my room was not large enough for a 777, however it was for a 737. I wanted to go with a 737-900ER because the layout of the cockpit is basically the same, the thing is its range. It can easily fly from Seattle to Honolulu and with the routes I have planned on the world map infront of me, that is the perfect aircraft.
Flight Deck Solutions. Great Place. A friend at a Virtual Airline was drooling over the 777 Single Seat Training Device and so we all took and look. From then on the page was bookmarked.
Will do once I start on the room.
Thanks to all,
Lewis
