Re: A320 FMGS beta 28
Hello JL
thank you for all your efforts. In B28 The moment the aircraft is airborne managed autopilot disconnects and stops working. Manual autopilot remains available.
Thanks

Re: A320 FMGS beta 28
Hi,
Usually, when managed modes are not available once airborne, it means the MCDU has not been filled in correctly.
It can also be that the aircraft does no go into Takeoff mode, usually because a wrong thrust setting is used. You need to go either in TOGA or FLEX mode (making sure in the latter case that FLEX temperature has been inserted in PERF TO page).
Regards,
JL

Re: A320 FMGS beta 28
Hi again,
I am sorry, but the managed modes cork correctly for me. I will need more information to know what's going on, such as a video of the PFD during takeoff.

Re: A320 FMGS beta 28
Hi startrail,
as a regular user I can also confirm that managed mode works fine in 27 and 28. I only got this issues after some touch&go stuff if I remember right. For a regular flight it works always fine. Ensure you set flex temp. have you defined a route correctly? Do you get a ETA time?
@ JL: regarding the DIR TO bugs on the ND --> I have not tried your latest downloads of 28.3. I will recheck on the weekend with latest version. I just mentioned it as I didnt know that such a bug could come from the widefmgs stuff.
Any chance to add these 2 last korrys (GPWS and AUTOLAND) with b29?
Thank you.

Re: A320 FMGS beta 28
Thank you Rob,
What baffles me is that it works in B26 ,in 27 & 28 with the same input and correct route , it disconnects once airborne ..
i have noticed that during take off using TOGA position , the white square on the PFD around man thr is always amber Instead of white.
i will experiment further as per JL and your advice

Re: A320 FMGS beta 28
@Startrail: if there is an amber MAN THR box instead of a white MAN TOGA, do not look any further. Please re-reconfigurate your thrust levers in FMGS Config, and do not forget to put big enough error zones around each detent, this is very important.
@Rob: no sorry, these two actually have some logic behind and are not straight forward...
I will away for the weekend, without internet access, do not be affraid if I do not answer as quickly as usual...
Cheers,
JL

Re: A320 FMGS beta 28
Hi everyone,
i just install the B28.3 on a client-pc. The both nd Display crash after establish communcation. When they doesn't crash (other startorder) the ND's doesn't have aa GPS signal. What did i wrong in my installation?
Does the ND not need a new or own database? Only the FS-Server? The config file in the Serverfolder disable the root of an navsource and enable the ip input only. So i assume that the ND's doesnt need the database??
Thanks for repy, Chris
