    lvld 767 home cockpit hw

    hello nikko
I am building my home cockpit following your wonderful work ..but I have a problem about the hardware configuration
.. I would like to dedicate a PC (the principal ) to the external view and the second pc to view the cockpit instruments ..
but because my little knowledge in the field do not know how ... do you have any suggestions for me ?
thank you very much and congratulations for your work

    Hi
you could do as I and others do. and use Wideview software. This gets installed on both PCs. Use your best PC and graphics card to display the outside view as a slave PC with Wideview set as a slave. Use your lesser PC to display the instruments with Wideview set as master. Connect PCs together via ethernet. Either via a hub and standard ethernet cables(simplest choice) or directly PC to PC using ethernet crossover cable.
read the Wideview manual for all the configuration details.
Go here for Wideview, not very expensive but well worth it.

    regards
    geoff

That's not possible (for the level-D767), I'm afraid. But why would you. Computers are powerful enough to run FSX + level-D 767 at one PC. See for instance the previous post. You better use a second PC for communications when flying on-line, for weather (ASN), and so on (like I do). Nico

To display the CDU window you need another screen indeed. I'm using a 7 inch screen with HDMI input so I can use the HDMI output at my Graphics card.
