Freeware Radiostack FS2004 / FSX with network support

    Hi,
I have written a stand-alone radio stack, which is also network capable of WideFS. No install, just run the EXE. The program is based on the FSUIPC SDK.

At the moment show the Com 1 and 2, Nav 1 and 2. ADF are in labor and later-hopefully-also the GPS with Map

There are four modules, Com1 Com2 Nav1 and Nav2, each serving the same. Each module has click spots.

Click the red highlighted area displays a Optionmenu, Click/Doubleclick on the yellow Spot show/hidde the windowframe.

    Options:

The program is tested with Win7 64, XP 32 SP3, FS9.1 and FSX SP2. Since it was written in Visual Basic may be the VB6 Runtime is required.

All settings are stored in a CFG, which bears the name of the program. FSR_Com1.Exe -> FSR_Com1.CFG.

This CFG is created by the program. If they deleted the program will start with default settings and create it anew.

There is a Win7 and an XP version because of a compatibility bug still not corrected. To format the text in the 7-Segment-Look should look the included freeware font DIGITAL 7.TFF.

This is the first version and there are certainly some errors. For feedback I would appreciate it.

The program can be found as FSR.Zip here in the download area or as FS_Radio.Rar on Megaupload

Thank you Skino, I have been hoping someone would develop something like this for awhile. I'll be starting my radio panel this weekend now that I have the software to run it. Thanks again, you work is very much appreciated.

    Hi Shawn,
I am glad that you can use my little program. If you like special adjustments, such as different font size , fontstyle, backcolor or something similar then just write me. There should be no problem. The ADF is also finished and only has been tested this weekend.

Hello Skino, I've been busy with work and haven't had a chance to play around with your software very much. I'm quite excited with the possibilities of building a standalone radio stack though. Hopefully I can get a test version up and running within a few weeks. If you need someone to beta test the ADF I'd be happy to help.

    Hi Skino
Thank you for the magnificent program.
I was looking for a suite of radios for my project, I am building a King Air and I intend to use it in FSX and x-plane 10.
I tried your program in x-plane and it worked perfectly, with xuipc.
Now only missing xpdr and ADF.
    Thanks again

    The XPDR http://www.2download.de/download-a24...e#.UAJvZpKFATt

A little different from COM or NAV. Let me know if wished another font or fontcolor. Doubleclick/click to display/hide frames. ADF follows tonight.

    Skino
    Thank you for your kindness
The XPDR worked perfectly on my win 7 64, with FSX and x-plane 10.
    The font/fontcolor are great.
I started learning c / c + +, java and python, only with the intention of developing a suite of radios for my project. I want to continue learning, to create the engine instruments, but your Bonnieware saved a lot of time.
