Thread: Starting Basics

I am thinking that While I am researching and planning etc that there are probably some generic things that I can do to kind of get rolling. Something that will be useful no matter what I settle on (It will be a commercial airliner).
I was thinking that one area I could start in would be the sound system. Any aircraft is going to need a good sound system. Some things may work for any airliner such as background noises.
Another area could be perhaps be to start the Windshield Display. Again, going to need to be able to see, and since it is a commercial airliner the views should be the same out the front glass.
Does this sound reasonable? Are there other rather generic areas that could be started before I settle on a specific bird?
