    Fov

    Hi,

I am running FS( and would like to know how to set my view for 2D, 3D, Cockpit, VC, views to 0.75 on a permanant basis so I don't have to set them each time I load FS9. Anyone have any ideas? I have looked in the FS9.Cfg file but can't find any reference to the FOV, only POV.

    Thanks

    Rob

I think you just have to save the flight, then set FS to load that flight on startup.

    Rob,
In your "My Documents" folder, in "Flight Simulator Files", you'll see your saved flights. These files all end in .flt. Edit these .flt files in Notepad.

Look for the [Window.x] section(s). There will be one [Window.x] section for each window on screen you saved with that flight. You'll see entries next to "CockpitZoom=xxx", "VirtualZoom=xxx", TowerZoom=xxx, etc... Change the "xxx" values to 0.75 and save.

Then, launch FS with these saved flights and all will be as you want.

    Re: Fov

I've emailed the support staff three times already without any response. Hopefully I can find some sort of solution in this forum. I installed the component without any issue and it's running perfectly on the website. The problem is that when i added our company's symbol VBRE, it's showing up in the ticker with N/A next to the symbol instead of the stocks value. The stock comes up on yahoos finance page so im not sure what the problem is.
