    Angry Grrrrrr!!!!!

Just grumbling about my place of employment. They had the unmitigated audacity to add a website filtering mechanism so that now I can’t see any of the pictures that are posted if the link is outside MyCockpit.

The gall I tell you!!! They do know I’m retiring next year and therefore need to keep abreast of new developments so that when I resume building my sim, I will be up to date & ready to go.

Next thing you know, they’ll expect productivity out of me during regular business hours . I know…. I suppose I should be happy to have a job these days, but still, isn’t there any compassion left these days for terminally afflicted sim builders???

Of course, if someone from my place of employment should read this, I may well be offered an early ‘retirement’ package, I mean kick in the butt.

I'm surprised if your IT hasn't already read your post. Many employer web filtering setups also log urls. They've gotta do something in between the random calls asking how to turn on a computer and playing World of Warcraft.

You wanna really drive them nuts, setup 4 different webmail accounts and access those daily via work. Also, randomly browse the websites of competitor companies. They'll be liable to go postal.

Well, I'm still here and I'm part of the IT group, so I would know if/how we spy on people . Unless of course they are really devious and hired an external spying company without anyone's knowledge in IT

hehe, I guess the places I've previously worked were a bit restrictive.

Ah, it's nice to be an unemployed student at the moment during Summer break.
