when somebody comes half way round the world and ends up here,
    that is really a compliment.

find something out. he's helped me a couple of times.

Thanks Guys for the compliments. I was pleasantly surprised when Michael ask me to be interviewed as June Builder of the month. I quickly jumped at the questions and put pen to paper....or is it fingers to keyboard...?

I have been very interested in building the sim for some time now as I am sure most of you are out there. I try to build it within my means and budget so thats why I went for certain "cheaper solutions".

I am very interested in getting the sim building hobby big in my country of Malaysia. However, most hobby simmers in Malaysia are desktop pilots. I joined another forum in Malaysia called Malaysian Wings http://malaysianwings.net and I started a tread called FULL Cockpit Builders in Malaysia and from the replies I got, it gave me the impression that not many people build FULL cockpits. Many were in awe of my humble and simple cockpit build. Therefore I have tried to make it a point to introduce the people in Malaysia to this forum site ( MyCockpit.org ) to get more information and of course to the website of my "GURU" Ian Sissons for his clever approach to building cockpits and his excellent tutorials. http://www.737ng.co.uk
( Ian I hope you dont mind me putting you up on a pedestal here cause you deserve it )

Also to answer Ians question, I will be coming to Lelystad this November for FS Weekend. I'll try to convince as many people in the Malaysian Forum to go as well.

Thanks once again to you for your comments

    Regards,
    Chris

    Chris,

I too would like to congratulate you on your Builder Of The Month Award. Similarly to Michael i have noticed the acheivement in your building recently with your overhead panel. It's great to see all different approaches to one task. Your ideas of the poster put into action have been an example to others.

Keep up the great work Chris.

    Geremy,

Thanks for your comments too. As I mentioned, I shall be promoting our forum here as well to as many Malaysians and to try to convince them to also visit the FS Weekend.

    Cheers Mate.
