    FS2004 Keyboard Commands?

Does anyone know how to get the switches on the aircraft to work with the keyboard......

I know that most switches are usable and work with the keyboard and can be altered on the assignments control box, however the specific aircraft (just flight A340 500/600) has extra switches that can only be used with the mouse

As I would like to operate the 4 master switches on the engines of my A340, by using a keyboard command as opposed to using the mouse.....plus the APU switch etc...

I have looked at some of the obscure lists in the assignments box like "concorde lower nose" but they don't seem to do anything if I assign a key to them

    Any suggestions appreciated

PS. I have searched this forum for similar requests without success

I think you will need to get a registered copy of FSUIPC, and use the mousetrapping function. Once you have "trapped" the switches you want, then you'll have to use FSUIPC to set the commands to a specific key or macro of keys.

    Hope this helps

As Rob says - mousetrapping is the way forward. I even made a (sad) video to show you how:

    Enjoy.

    Thanks for the advice..

Thanks guys for the advice, I will watch your You Tube video, as I am useless with computers, I presume I purchase a copy of FSUIPC and put it into my modules folder, and then register it, and then "mousetrap" the switches...

Thanks again, this site is invaluable
