    Boeing DIY Boeing style ADI

    Hello everybody

The most fun of the hobby of building cockpits is to build some things, in my case I want my MIP has an ADI as similar to that of Boeing 737-700, and well I found the task of mine. Assisted USB Servos of the OpenCocpits, I have the program ready SIOC to connect two servo motors and make my ADI. and after a good test is ready now and start with the hardware for now start with the sphere of artificial horizon, just only need to be added grades, will soon have more progress.

Looks good, I hope it works out for you.

If you get around to building a 4" Collins HSI 108 or 110 let me know.

I loved the idea so much, i just couldn't resist.

Went and got the stuff and had it done after a couple of hours. Great stuff, i loved the idea and not i have the product to admire. HSI artificial horizons are one of the most expecsive instruments as it is. This could in fact now be encorporated into a type of servo to make it working.

Although i'm happy with a dummy look a alike for the forseeable future.

Well done Geremy!!, and I notice that you apply a gloss coat, and I also I will do the same and add a matt coat, I upload a video for the first test and calibration, and I will not yet place the grades for picht, I will with drytransfer lettering.

Soon photos and explanation of what I did...

Thank You Carlos for the thanks. I love the video - that would be my ideal world to get it working.

I would be so grateful if you could explain in detail showing what and how you have produced the working mechanism. A tutorial would be ideal. Looks great, and i look forward to continueing down this route.

And yes, i bought Humbrol Gloss paint:

    Black enamel Gloss 21
    Light blue Enamel Gloss 48
