Windows not staying locked in place...

I have a FS9 add-on of a A340 600 from just flight, I can unlock and move the windows to different screens, however although I save the flight, when I start up again several appear back on the outside view and not where I had left them. Does anyone know a way of stopping this... is it because I am trying to lay several windows over each other? any suggestions welcome

You must have been trying to do this in full screen mode... right?

You have to save the flight while in window mode and when loading the flight, you also have to be in window mode. Once the flight is loaded, then you can switched to full screen mode.

    Reply to my problem.....

Thanks for the reply, however I am in Windows mode....

I am confused as to why the PFD and MFD are constantly on my 2nd monitor (which is good) and the EFIS is on the 3rd monitor, but the FMCS and GPS which I leave on the 3rd monitor always goes back onto the outside view on the 1st monitor

I will have to keep trying, but thanks again any suggestions are welcome

I don't know why they do that either.

When I open FS and load the aircraft the instrument panel and engine stack are always on the main forward view monitor but as soon as I click undock for both, they jump to the correct monitor. After selecting full-screen again they resize themselves properly too.

It's the same with the other systems using WidevieW views.

It doesn't seem to matter if I've saved a configuration in Windowed or Full-Screen mode, the views are always all together on the main monitor.

More of an inconvenience really, it's just another step to get the sim up and running.
