I too can't find any drawings or dimensions for a possible A320 build.

can anyone suggest a web site and/or files where dimensions or templates can be found please?

It's frustrating having the enthusiasm but not the info I need to see if this is really practical.

    Thanks

Thanks Dave but I already saw that site and it brings up more questions that in answers for me.
I have spent a lot of time looking at the complicated bit with the electronics and now find that basic things like measurements or templates or drawings are not available. It's the first depressing set back since I decided this would be a good thing to do. I am beginning to wonder now!

Skywatch, I am sorry but I need to tell you this. If you are going to let something like not being able to get measurements discourage you, perhaps you are in the wrong hobby.

There are other ways to get close to accurate measurements. For instance. Look in a picture of a 737. We all know that the displays are 8" by 8" Therefore if you print off the picture and using a ruler, measure the size of the displays in mm. Take 8" and devide it by your measurement, and then take the measurement from something else in the picture, multiply it by the same ratio that you got with the first measurement, and you will be very close to the actual size.

Nothing in this hobby comes easy, it takes a lot of hard work, and unless you have thousands of dollars to spend on premade parts, you will find yourself needing to build as many parts as you can.

    Just my $.02.

    Best regards,

    Trev

What Trevor write here is the way to get things done. I use this method for lots of my work.

It is time-consuming. But scaling pictures and drawings is one of the best ways to get the dimensions OK. Since there is not to many good drawings available for us builders.
