Thumbs up Looking for a few good testers...

I'm looking for a few good beta testers that have Beta Innovations hardware.

I'm working on a new package called Cockpit Interface Master.

CIM supports FlightGear, MSFS, X-Plane, IL2 and shortly, Lock On: Modern Air Combat.

The software will allow you to interface any BI or DirectX compatible input device and any BI output device to those listed simulators.

CIM allows you to write programs in a scripting language called Lua. Lua is a popular language used in a number of games including World of Warcraft and Lock On: Modern Air Combat. It's also used in many console games for AI.

You can use those Lua programs to access both simulator data and hardware data. CIM allows you to use as many separate Lua programs as needed. Each one runs in its own thread and is executed by CIM at a time interval you can specify. Your Lua programs can "block" threads without causing any adverse effects to other scripts.

I'm looking for a few people that have both DirectX and BI hardware. Electron Flux owners are a bonus. Anyone with "legacy" BI hardware is also needed. ("Legacy" hardware was produced prior to Leo's introduction of individual product serial numbers in the firmware).

You'll also need at a minimum one of the supported simulators:
    MSFS 2000, 2002, 2004, FS X
    FlightGear v1.0+
    X-Plane v8.6+
Any version of IL2 that supports the DeviceLink protocol.
    Lock On: Modern Air Combat

I look forward to you questions and comments!

Beta tester applicants, please contact me directly at geneb@deltasoft.com

    Thanks for your time!

Re: Looking for a few good testers...

Leo took his ball and went home. Beta Innovations products are no longer available. Because of this, CIM died before it hit the beta stage.

However, there is other hardware out there that when time permits I'll be interfacing to. I can't give you guys a time frame though, sorry!
