YD indication on PFD problem

Hi, i have YD indication on PFD, and even if i turn on the YD in PMsystems the indication stay orange, will it have to change on green or disappear?

I might be wrong, if so correct me.

What happens if you turn on or off the YD in FS?

I have tryed the Normal YD switch on the pmsystem panel and the switch on bottom right that said fsyawdamper, what are the keys in fs to turn it on or off?

I do not know the keys to turn the FS YD on and off. I am not in a position to look right now. I do know that PM does not model YD. So turning the switch on in PMSystems really does not do anything. In FS, go to options. assignments and look for the keys for YD.

Hi Thomas... Well I stand partially corrected.. And i am not afraid to say I am wrong! PM does not model YD but DOES run FS YD. So is your pressure over 1300psi?

I have set it to On 'cause i want the indication status of the YD, i verified the HYD Pressure and it is 2800psi, but the YD remains Amber regardless i switch On or Off in Pmsystems

I use PMDG737 model.

I use PMDG too. With Yaw damper line replacement ( yaw_damper_gain = 1.0000 ), it works now !

well... There it is! Glad you got this fixed. It would have taken a long time to find that on ones own! This is one I will keep in the back of my mind as i too use the PMDG flight model.
