Speaking of 'red lines'. I have already attempted to have PM give us thrust trend indicators for the PMRJ software and Enrico said he'd look into it.

Regarding redlining though, is there a way to go into the ini file and put in info based off the real aircraft that will show red lines in PMRJ if limits are exceeded? I have the rw data per the Bombardier books.

Thanks-and hopefully we can determine how to help ****sonlee.

What setting did you change? If it is in the Boeing (now this is not guaranteed) but it is probably in the RJ... Because the Boeing was the base for this software.....

Don't remember, I would have to check the ini file again. I just remember playing with the setting, and accidentally had hot engine indications around 60% N1 Changed it back and now got it set where I want. I will check to see if I can remember where I set that.

Okay, this should totally be possible I would think (it is after all supposed to simulate an aircraft's avionics) and here's to hoping that Trevor can find where this was located at.

    Thanks to all...

    Hi,

I will try to do some changes in aircraft config file and ini file. It is because I managed to control some parameters like EPR and EGT using offsets from FSUIPC list by writting certain values into those offsets in pmLogic. So I assume I can do the same for other parameters as well.

Thanks guys and please update to this forum if you find out something

    Regards,

I don;t understand this..... unless ****sonlee is working on writing a "stand alone system app" that maybe does something like generate random system failures by altering the "normal" values showing in the aircraft?

    Aircraft config file

    Hi guys,

Based on your advise, i was trying to change the settings in aircraft config file (B747400.txt) situated in the CDU folder. I tried to change FFFactor, FFMax, N1Startupdelay, and N2Startupdelay. However, I couldn't see any differences in my glass cockpit display for fuel flow, n1, and n2. Did I miss any steps in the setting change?

By the way, does the aircraft config file in the cdu have direct relationship with the aircraft type that I used in MSFS2004? The promagenta glass cockpit will display accordingly with the engine specifications defined in the cdu aircraft config, am I right to say that?

    Regards,

    ****sonlee

    ****sonlee,

N1, N2, EPR, and EGT will not change Fuel flow. Go into your aircraft.cfg file in flightsim, and change the "fuelflowscalar=1" to "fuelflowscalar=1.5"
this will change the fuel flow. As for the n1%, and N2% you can change those within PM.
