    737 Pedestal

Can anybody recommend a good place where they sell a NG Pedestal? I've looked around (and call me blind) but I haven't yet found a full panel, only sections.

    Re: 737 Pedestal

Are there any components missing in the pedestal from Cockpitsonic such as radios, etc? Also is this the same one besides not assembled? http://www.cockpitsonicusa.com/oxid....08460.28411692

Also with the FDS like the Cockpit Sonic I can't tell if things are missing like the SELCAL and stuff. Thanks.

    Re: 737 Pedestal

I'm planning to build a 737NG Pedestal out of MDF. Which thickness of MDF is preferred (1/2" or 3/4")? I want to make it to 1:1 dementions, and to be sturdy, but at this point I also need to be able to move it around, so weight is a consideration.

I want to eventually build the entire console (MIP, etc.), and would prefer to do so in "modules" I could move around the house/garage, if necessary.

    Hello headshrink,

considering the fact that you are planning to move around the house with the sim, I 'd suggest to close the bottom with a panel. That way it will more solid and it will be much easier to keep it in good shape while moving around. If you do so the thickness won't matter.

That is a good idea, thanks. I that case I'll be making it as thin as I can reasonably do so.
