Cockpit update.....and I'm not yoking here!

The v2 desktop pit is in the works. I will post updates in this thread. I am also working on a new website dedicated to my simming hobby.
it is in early works but can be found at

    http://www.solvengineer.com/simulator.html

I have most of the parts/hardware and now it has gotten to the construction phase. This one will have a metal frame and will allow reconfiguration as Desktop Aviator and/or Gofligh modules are purchased.

I finally bought a yoke for all those Cessna flights I plan to make.I won the bid yesterday.
16.75 grand total including shipping. It is made by an unknown company, and is a gameport yoke. I hope my USB adapter will work and allow all the functions to carry through. The seller says it has trim, throttle and rudder besides the two buttons. I didn't see the lever or switches in the pictures...so a bit of a risk here but the price was low.
Pictures to come when I get this thing in the mail.

Site has been updated with the current (well almost current) status of the pit.
Check out the Construction and Flight Controls section.

    Cool

yeah that took a while because I didn't feel like drilling holes in the desk...so I drilled holes into two plastic panels and put bolts through them, head down, then used mounting pads, with glue and tape too, to stick those to the desk surface, and voila I had thre mounting points over which the rest of the hardware the visible items) were attached.

Next installment, I will show you how to I made rudder pedals with toe brakes spending 2 dollars and 2 minutes. Seriously!
