    FS2Phidget Run-time error 76

    Hi,

    I get a Run-time error 76: Path not found, after I run FS2Phidget.
    My setup/environment:
    XP Pro SP2, FS2004, FS2Phidget 3.0.0.9, Phidget.dll 1.3.5 and FSUIPC 3.4.8.
FS2004, FSUIPC and FS2Phidgets all running on th same machine (P4).

After the error, FS2Phidget starts but with everything greyed out, except 'Card Mgr' and 'Connect to Phidgets'.
Clicking on either has no effects/results.

I'm using a VSI (from SimKit), a HS-322 Servo and a 1-Servo Controller USB ( both from Phidgets USA) and I haven't been able to see it work.

What am I missing/ not doing right?
Please help, I've spent 3 whole days (and nights) not getting any results other than the beard that I seem to be growing.

    Cheers,
    ObiOne

    Obi-one,

    Three questions:

    (a) Have you ever installed a prior version of Fs2Phidgets ?

    (b) Is Fs2Phidget software installed in folder C:\Program Files\FS2Phidget\ ?

    (c) Can you see folder C:\Program Files\FS2Phidget\FSVariable ?

    Regards,
    Alan

    Alan,

    (a) Yes, since I've been trying all sorts of things.

    (b) No I didn't install it in the default folder.

    (c) No, I couldn't.

I have removed and re-installed everything (including FS2004), settling for the default directories.

    Results:
Error gone, FS2Phidgets sees and connects to the servo and communicate with FS2004.

I've had my first experience; I'm not a 'cockpit-builder virgin' anymore

Thanks Alan, great stuff. Now I'm fiddling with calibration.

    Cheers,
    Obi-One
