    FCU Display

I'm redoing my EFIS/FCU. Currently I just display the numbers, no dots or
dashes or indicators of what mode, etc.

Is there anyone, that has the FCU displays, displaying exactly as indicated

in the PM FCU software graphics? If so, would you share what
    hardware/interface you are using?

    Thanks,

    FCU Display

I'm using SIOC (Opencockpits) and have my FCU working with all the indicator
    lights and dashed displays.
The boards are easy to build and they were a very nice group of people to
    deal with when I ordered.

Only thing I had some problems with was when changing from the MCDU modes
back to commanded values the pm FCU wasnt updating the corresponding variables
in time so values didnt match.

I did send Enrico an email a while ago, so this may have been fixed. I'm
moving the sim into its own room so dont have all the computers linked at the
moment to check, hopefully within a couple of weeks it will be fully flying
    again.

    Thanks Glenn, Very much appreciated.

I know SIOC (Opencockpits) have been mentioned many times within the
builders groups, but have to admit, I do not know where to go Would you

    please give me link?

    Thanks,

    Hi Peter, and Thanks

Glen, or anyone else using SIOC (Opencockpits), could you post or e-mail me

a list of boards to order? I hate reinventing the wheel.... Beside the
boards, I would be interested in what 7 Segs you are using and where to get

    them.

SIOC is a virgin experience for me, I appreciate any help I can get.

    This project never ends........

    Hi Matt,

I also use opencockpits. The sioc is very powerfull
I had a big part of the airbus pedestal linked up and
working. Now i'm currently writing a lot of code to
rework everything including the FCU and EFIS
    What do you order.
    Order : 1 mastercard = 45 outputs
    72 inputs
if more then one mastercard is needed or you prefer using USB
order : 1 expansion board (allows up to 4 mastercards to be
    connected)
    order : x display boards ( 1 board = 16 7segment displays)
(up to 4 display boards for each mastercard)
order : 5 digit 3 digit and I think also 6 digit PCBs
    to hold the 7segment display
order : 7segment display, nice yellow and nice size

for easy connectivity you can also order seperate input
and output connection cards, those connect to the mastercard
via a delivered flatcable and give access to the inputs and
    outputs via screw terminals.

Those people for opencockpits are very nice and not out for
money... they just serve the cockpit building community...

If help needed with SIOC ... just ask ...

SIOC from Iocards do all the dashes/pointes etc etc we have in A320 displays
like in PM...In this moment I have FCU and EFIS work completly with all the
situations working using iocards interface and SIOC software!
