Keystroke via FSUIPC & wide FS

Ok, I will check for EPIC direct input to WideFS.

Everyting would be simple if My EPICs cards were plugged into my FS computer,
but it is not the case ....

Will continue in this topic if successful.

WideFS has handled button stuff from EPICs for some time. Only the exis
    inputs aren't handled.

Keystroke via FSUIPC & wide FS

Impossible to make it work .....

WideFs seem only to make keysent from server to client. Can't make the
    inverse ... (

My goal is only to have Time speak on the FS computer, and command the Push
to talk from my EPICsystem computer.

No, that isn't true. You can tell Wideclient to send ALL keystrokes it gets
to FS on the Server. The parameter is:

    SendKeyPresses=Yes

as documented in WideFS.doc. But for it to work WideClient must have the
keyboard focus OR you have to write a program to send the keystroke to
    WideClient's window (class FS98MAIN).

I don't know "Time speak", but does it use ordinary key messages or does it
actually "hot key" the keyboard? In the latter case it might be difficult to
    do anything except locally.

But, in any case, I don't understand, if you have EPIC, why you are using a
keyboard on the Client PC for PTT. Why not use a Button? FSUIPC will
recognise buttons pressed on any Client computer, so you then just need to program
the button on the FS PC. You can program it to do a Roger Wilco or AVC
"PTT" directly, or send keystrokes if that's what you need to do. Have you not
looked at doing it this way? Why are you using key presses on the Client
    PC in the first place?

    Pete

    Hi Peter,
Maybe it is interesting to know, that Team Speak is now the official voice

program on the IVAO network and that you don't need RW anymore when using
the new IVAP clientsoftware (which is replacing SB)

Can you program a direct PTT button to Team Speak, as you did for AVC and RW

    in the past ?

    Many thanks

    Michel

Ah! It was "Team Speak" in the orginal message, not "Time Speak"? Yes, I know
it is used by IVAO, and I recently sorted out the way to get its PTT
working across WideFS. Please check the current WideFS documentation.

Not direct, no. It's by a key press, but using the new feature
"UseSendInput". It is all clearly defined in the WideFS documentation. Take a look when
    you have time.

If you are using TeamSpeak on the FS PC, you simply program a button to send
the key. According to other Team Speak users you need to choose a Key with
no other ramifications, because TeamSpeak doesn't "swallow" it, it allows
    it to pass through!

    Pete

No I'm using Teamspeak on a client pc together with IvAp (no RW or SB
involved anymore), but the PTT button is on my yoke, which is connected to

    my flightsim pc.

    Ciao
